On the occasion of this unique event, artist-funders Dafna Maimon and Ethan Hayes-Chute will join us at El Paracaidista (Calle de Palma 10) on Friday the 23th to introduce the screening and give us insight into their creative collaboration.

Conglomerate TV is an artist television channel, funded in Berlin by five of the most promising artists today: Sol Calero, Derek Howard, Christopher Kline, Ethan Hayes-Chute, and Dafna Maimon. Running since 2016, the programme already comprises 4 episodes, produced in collaboration with other members from the thriving Berlin art scene and abroad (such as Jeremy Shaw, Eli Cortiñas, Ming Wong, Keren Cytter, Constant Dullaart). The creators appropriate the television network model to experiment with their own artistic practices. Between the telenovela and the cooking show, the commercial parody and the mockumentary, each segment playfully addresses the ironies of the society we live in.

The screening will take place at the Moviebar, El Paracaidista (Calle de Palma 10) and start with two episodes at 19.00h with an introduction by Dafna Maimon and Ethan Hayes-Chute. The following two episodes will be screened at 20.30h.

Admission is free.

We look forward to seeing you!
