Founded in 2015 by Ricardo Mirat, Mirat Projects showcases exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. Our exhibitions are carefully curated with an unconventional but consistent thread, thoroughly based on history in order to create an educational dialogue between artists from different generations and continents.
The gallery is focused on the representation and collaboration of emerging and mid-career artists (and incorporates various blue-chip artists in its annual program), the engagement of the viewer by providing thoughtful and finest-quality exhibits, and bringing the utmost artistic experience to our collectors. Mirat Projects frequently displays artwork by the most prominent artists of the 80's, as well as, a selection of Masters from the beginning of twentieth century.
Andy Warhol, John Baldessari, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joan Miró, Sol Lewitt, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Oscar Domínguez, Robert Indiana, Alexander Calder, Tracey Emin, Roy Lichtenstein, Victor Vasarely, Wassily Kandinsky, Gerarhd Richter, Julian Schnabel, Christopher Wool, David Salle, Robert Mappelthorpe, Ross Bleckner, Barbara Kruger, Cindy Sherman, amongst others.
